Welcome to The Big Head Co. ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website and purchasing our Statement Headwear, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. General Application
These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of our website, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content. By purchasing our Event Headwear, Supporter Gear, or Crowd Activation Wear, you agree to these terms.
2. Orders and Lead Times
Standard & Custom Orders: We process both standard collections and fully customised bulk orders for corporate brands, schools, and events. Lead Times: Due to the nature of our production, lead times generally range from 10 to 60 working days. The exact timeline is dependent on the size of your order and the level of customisability required. We will confirm estimated delivery dates upon order finalisation. Order Acceptance: We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order.
3. Pricing and Payments
All prices are subject to change without notice. Secure Online Payments: We use Paystack for secure online transactions. Accepted payment methods through Paystack include Visa and Mastercard credit/cheque cards, as well as Instant EFT. Offline Payments (EFT): We also accept direct Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT) into our FNB Bank account. If you select this option at checkout, you will receive our banking details via email. Orders paid via EFT will only enter the production queue once the funds have fully cleared in our account.
4. Shipping and Collection
Domestic Shipping: We ship nationally within South Africa. Delivery fees will be calculated and displayed at checkout. International Shipping: We currently do not ship internationally. Cross-Border Collections: Customers from neighbouring countries can arrange to have their orders collected directly from our factory. To coordinate a cross-border collection, please contact us at enquiries@thebighead.co.za before placing your order.
5. Returns and Refunds
Custom Orders: Because our Custom Headwear and co-branded BIG HEADS are made to your specific requirements and branding, these items are strictly non-refundable and non-returnable once production has commenced, unless there is a clear manufacturing defect. Standard Collections: For non-customised items, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order if you wish to request a return. Items must be unused and in their original condition.
6. Intellectual Property & Corporate Branding
When providing logos, slogans, or designs for custom orders (such as corporate brand activations, sports partnerships, or school merchandise), you warrant that you have the legal right and authority to use said intellectual property. The Big Head Co. accepts no liability for trademark or copyright infringement resulting from artwork or designs supplied by the customer. The design, layout, look, and appearance of our website and our proprietary Statement Headwear shapes are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Big Head Co. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, our products or materials on this site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.
